(Remodeled assessment structure effective from the Academic year

2017-2018 for classes I to X )

(i)            Periodic Test (10 Marks): The School will conduct three Periodic written tests in the entire academic year and the average of the best two will be taken.

(ii)          Note book Submission ( 5 marks ) :  Note Book submission as a part of internal assessment is aimed at enhancing  seriousness of students towards preparing notes for the topics being taught in the classroom. This also addresses the critical aspect of regularity, punctuality,neatness and note book upkeep.

(iii)          Subject Enrichment Activities ( 5 marks )

(iv)          Annual Examination (80 Marks): This exam is for 80 marks ineach subject with syllabus coverage as follows:

Co-ScholasticActivities for classes IX & X (Work Education, Art,,Physical and HealthEducation. and Physical Education ):  TheSchool promotes Co-curricular activities for the holistic  development ofthe student. These activities will be graded on a 5- points grading scale ( Ato E ) and will have no descriptive indicators.

Subject Enrichment Activities:

Theseare subject specific application activities aimed at enrichment of theunderstanding and skill development.

For Languages : Activities to develop effective speaking and listening skills.

For Mathematics : Laboratory activities and projects.

For Science : Practical works / activities

For Social Science : Map and project work.
